Setting the position of cameras in the Preview

You can set the position of cameras directly in the Preview.

To set the position of a camera in the Preview:

  1. In the Preview click Edit, to enter the Edit mode.
    When in the Edit mode you view the scene through the free camera.
  2. Move around the scene using the free camera.

    Use these free camera controls to move around in the Preview.

    Hold down Shift to double the speed.

    Hold down Shift to double the speed.

    Hold down ZActivate the orbit camera.
    Use the orbit camera to rotate around the center point of the Preview.
    Hold down Z and mouse scroll wheelZoom
    FFocus on the object selected in the Project.
    Shift+FAfter focusing on the object selected in the Project, focus out.
  3. When you are done framing the scene, click in the Preview, to save the values of the free camera to the camera in your scene.
